My son (Tom) and I visited Gramma and Grampa on Friday.
They are both turning 90 years old this fall.
Birthday cake day at College Park.
Every Friday from 4 - 5 pm there is dancing with a keyboard player
and Tom and Gramma were rockin' it on the dance floor.
(Gramma has to watch her heart though, because she likes to move and jive!)
one, two, three...
turn and jive!
Gramma was sooooo happy her Grandson danced with her, because Grampa doesn't dance anymore!
Here are....
Tom's budgies/parakeets!
I was attempting to teach them to say "hello" but they have not
spoken that word yet. Actually I think they are scared of me. Tom is their
Master and friend so he can pick them up and talk to them.
A new visitor came home yesterday. His name is Midnight and he is a 3 year old Paint!
Hubby's friend Morley owns this little colt and he is letting Brian do some horsemanship training with him! He is a cutie!
Here is a video of Midnight!
Looking forward to more riding again and to watch Brian
work with this young rascal!
Also had a birthday lunch with my sister Barb and my friend Ilona
at Eastside Marios! My niece Brenda was at this lunch too but I didn't get her in this photo.
I really enjoyed this time we had.
This is the end of my birthday week. (I'm now 63)
I have connected with 3 really good friends this month. Two from
Vancouver Island and this one in Regina. I am very glad we can still
be friends and laugh and share the good and bad times.
even this horse that manifested into being owned by us is
HUGE for me and VERY IMPORTANT to my balance and energy
Just when I get her in my control with the riding techniques,
she goes and has a bad day or she doesn't like being around other horses
in the arena, you know, just like humans, it is a process to maintain balance.
These are horse videos and horse experiences from several years ago

our paint horse Ben came back to our new acreage after being
away for 8 months. This is my favourite video of all time.
Rocky and Ziggy remember who he is that is for sure.
Schutler is a colt that is co-owned with Brian and his friend and
it was our turn to train. But....he developed a couple of sarcoids
that we had to get a vet check on treatment plan for it.
I will add more once I can get them transferred from all the different cell phone
cameras and my digital cameras that I used over the years.
We are back from vacations at Cypress, Clear Lake,
and day trips to Good Spirit Lake and Madge Lake.
Will be heading to Regina Beach Saturday with my sister
and her friend.
Our son has been visiting us this week and I have always wanted a video of me riding a horse. The loping or cantering is new for me in an arena setting. I have no problem out in the open country to lope; for some reason arena riding is restrictive to me when I want to do some loping. I am practicing that here with my horse Grace.
Tom, this was a nice video of me and my Mantracker workin' it at Kirkville arena!
This 3 year old colt that we co-own has a couple of bumps on his body. This video he is
just returning from a vet check and we will wait to see what she recommends for removal. Vets' don't like to surgically remove these in the summer because of flies as when it is cut out it is not stitched closed.
They recommend natural liquid honey to place on the open wound and it heals very quickly.
New vet healing methods with a natural product. Who knew?
{it was extremely windy when i took this video so my voice cuts out a bit - sorry!}
