biggest accomplishment

I know that my biggest accomplishment

is my 39 year marriage to this man I am dancing with

below here.

and 

I still have my dress and I have NOT accomplished fitting

into this said dress. (sigh)

So yes here we are above dancing around the floor at the

Langenburg Hall

it was a simple wedding and I had 2 bridesmaids

and 2 groomsmen

Next year when we hit our 40th wedding anniversary; oh and we will, if I don't 

leave him before then (just joking).  Marriage is HARD! yes or no?

The years have been hard and lots of grief along with lots of horse adventures to get us through.

We both maintained good solid careers. 

 We do not struggle much financially,

mind you

it depends which one of us you ask! (snicker)

36 years ago today,

on this first day of summer June 21st

I married my man, Brian

so I brought out my wedding dress

will not fit into it

nice to take a peek at it once in awhile

it was 4 days of no-plans celebrations with Tom's birthday, then Fathers Day, then Brian's
birthday on June 20 and our anniversary on June 21 so we just said no gifts just
a nice supper out!  We like simple.  I felt a bit guilty because I am always under
 silly pressure to get cards and do a cake and get a gift but this year
Tom got cash and card and Brian and I had supper out!

I am planning on walking on a sandy beach

in a couple of weeks and relaxing!

to say I am content

I am loving loving the condo this week with the very cold winter windchill temps and I am not 

having to drive down highway 363 for work or appointments or for lunch in town and just always drive, drive, drive.  In saying that about driving, I however do need to adjust to a large city and knowing my directions and street names and locations and distance to and from the condo.

It will improve , I believe I have figured out the main thoroughfares at the East end of Regina and the Ring Road and good old Albert Street (love the south end).

I will miss Kirkville acreage alot though....

.... all the horse fun

but,  being with my hubby 24/7 now is happiness,

 being separated for over a year and having him just

home on the weekends, was taking its toll and I am glad

we are under the same roof all the time now.

This week I am very happy and content with my life

a new Chapter will emerge and we are ready for it!

figuring it out...

my hubby and I are figuring things out

financially, marital-ly, abundantly, joyfully, mentally, clariifyingly (I like making words
with "ly" at the end - did you notice) along with 

moving and selling our home/acreage.

in other words... alot is going on and my

fun-ness (word?) with my oils is keeping me sane

along with a counselling session with our animals because horses and
dogs and cats are Grounding......sometimes I feel like I am going to
take off on my broom...oops I mean balloon.....

 do we have enough $$$? - will we run out of $$$$?

We sat down with our financial planner and my husband with himself (LOL!)

I have the whole picture of what I have in my name

and where I can withdraw cash if necessary for

business expenses if I was to set up

My impression is...we will be okay.

Does Mantracker need to keep working in Regina

instead of being on horseback and training colts?

His comfort level and mine about retiring are a bit different, however,

to stay together and enjoy this new life, and it is a new way of life,

is a journey in decisions and working at what you love!

iphone vacation snipits

Brian and I took a 7 day only vacation to BC. We flew to Victoria and then rented a car.  We were attending a wedding at Cygnet Cove, Ucluelet, BC

this is Sandy and I and she and her husband Arnie now live in Qualicum Beach BC as of last Sept and she is my BFF since grade 5.  We seriously reconnected again a few years ago as the most tragic and astounding event happened to both of us.  we both lost our first born sons and in similar deaths...it still shakes me up today, but we are very connected and close..

This is Linda and now 34 years later we meet with anticipation it was a special day going over the college pics she had brought with her and just talking and remembering and updating our life now - it was an effort on both of us to meet at Qualicum Beach but we did it and found each other and had coffee and walked on the beach for almost 5 hours. Will make great effort to get together again that is for sure!

Mantracker's birthday is on Thursday and it is usually

about the horse, but I know that his wife and son are on equal ground (LOL!)

new game plan

new game plan..... staying on this acreage for 2013 year, moving away is not working for us right now, leaving my job and hubby away during the week is enough, i have a hired hand for the winter to assist with animal chores so i can sneak away to the condo ....figuring out the budget now...really is that necessary (yup!) until I can find some "Donna" money this winter...it is all pretty exciting just with that...I make plans and sometimes it changes and sometimes the plan goes forward. That is the challenge and the journey.
