shoulder mantra

Im not in alot of pain really....it's just annoying ..
" I am writing to release the tension in my neck muscles and collarbone muscles and pecs and the muscles around the pecs and collarbones   Release all my feelings and uncomfortableness in my energy that has caused this tension and this painful immobilization on the left arm.  I am releasing all the tension in my head  I am releasing the scalp and skull muscles that form around my head and that is holding all of 2014's changes and annoyances.  I am no longer able to hold that year of tension in my head and neck  It no longer serves me to do this.  I am allowed to nourish my muscles in my scalp and my shoulders.  Clear, release, clear the bad energy."

The scalp muscles and pectoral muscles are releasing.  I am allowing my body and my scalp and skull to re-energize.  It is okay to let go now  I am allowed to nourish my head and scalp and pec muscles.  Breath and it will go away slowly.  Breath and all is good now

ALEXANDER SHOULDER ROLLS

those 3 treatments are what work for me as a UNIT.  All three must be kept on my payroll to
keep me doing the things I love and to erase and ease any immobilization and pain from the area

I am still working on releasing the shoulder and arm malfunction which means I am not able to
lift the left arm without support from my other arm at present. I am functioning well with it lately because the pain is gone from the tip of my shoulder joint.  The tightness has stayed mind you

anyone else out there with a similar problem?

malfunction

my shoulder malfunctioned this last week
and I am heading to my NUCCA appointment on Nov 16
just had an acupuncture treatment yesterday
it has helped.  It seems since my trail ride Oct 25 and my Aquacise
classes this last month has not been liked by that injury of mine that
forms a lump on my neck.  My neck and inbetween my shoulder blades is
TIGHT (like it feels like you are touching a bone not a neck muscle)

so heat and ice and neck stretches and yoga stretches and
shoulder rolls until I get to my appointment on the 16th.
(i stretched while fencing this summer alot)

What a gift my injury is?  It keeps me humble so when I start having
too much fun and getting in shape WHAM ...back at ya girl!

I use NUCCA a few times a year as it has benefited me greatly with my injury
I can still horse ride and yoga.  But it does not like me doing laps using the front crawl and Aquacise with those weights and moving arms up and down while jogging.  NUCCA website where I receive my salvation and it keeps pain at zero most times and only may need a massage 4 times a year if that; has been the best way to heal my injury these past 3 years.  You have to stretch, yes, you have to have fun, yes and then you go back to your NUCCA doctor and she/he checks your alignment of your shoulders to
see if the treatment holds.  You do not always get an adjustment when you go.  If you are still balanced according to their equipment readings then you know you have maintained the treatment.

It started out with once every 6 weeks I would drive to Calgary and be checked on how
the treatment is holding up.  Now I go once a month in Regina.  The NUCCA doctor M. Hopf is her name and she comes into
Regina once a month on a Sunday as the Saskatchewan patients are pretty high numbers and she wants to start her own practice here.

I remember this photo of me stretching a few years back, this was before I learned
things about necks and shoulders.  I can actually do this stretch without pain in left rotator now.

readin' and ranchin'

hi
we went west
to the city
stayed in Calgary
Mantracker wrote his Land Agent exam
we both saw our NUCCA doctor
walked along the Bow River
I read my book , it was actually really good, as I picked it up
at the Safeway 30% off table.
it  also rained and thundered hard all day in the city
and driving home

I want to take these home
they were standing in the corner of the TV area in the condo
(I would put them somewhere more noticeable myself)
they are cool statues!

had to take a picture

a healing GoTo place

we came back from Calgary Sat nite,
i am so grateful for this province of Alberta,
here is why...

my foot surgery a year and a half ago in Medicine Hat removed a bump that resembled a rheumatoid nodule.  I am happy to report that I am wearing regular shoes, no more ortheopedic insoles, the lump is gone, and i have willed it to never come back!

A wonderful opportunity came up when Mantracker got this part time job as a land agent out of Medicine Hat after he retired from FCC , he does have some business in Calgary from time to time and.
I zoomed up their with him several times to check out my NUCCA doctor and it has been a lifestyle change.  Please checkout www.drscholten.com to find out more about NUCCA

also a major perk people!!......, we get to use this condo in downtown Calgary for overnight stays and it is pretty nice.  This was Tommy's first visit to this condo and I think he thought it was okay.  Mantracker's new employer is very gracious in letting us stay there when we want, even if it is not business related.
(pretty super!)
when I was in Calgary this last July Mantracker and Tommy coerced me to attend Choices Seminars
and it was  the best thing since that tragic year in 2004, that has really helped all 3 of us,
my "life sentence"has been put to rest...so to speak,
(we are just goofing around in our t-shirts in this photo)

oh yes, and I am so glad this "fellow'  went through  Choices seminars too,
yes Alberta has been a healing province for all three of us

do you have a GoTo place?

if not here is a video to take your mind off of stuff!

I have landed

Hi
I came back yesterday from Regina - good to sleep in my "sealy posturpedic"!
it was a very sucessful time in Regina and then Calgary, Choices Seminar my final weekend!
I am just going to share some photos....
Choices friends..this is Ursula we all loved her, she had a great laugh

more Choices friends, Caroline and Brittany, wonderful young ladies

having breakfast at Smitty's in Regina with my niece and my sister; my niece skipped high school that morning to see me as it has been a year since we saw each other in person, she is so sweet
and my mom (she is 82 years old) probably would not like me mentioning her age....
my dad (82 years)

it was five nights away and I stayed with my brother's family two nights,
two nights at the Radisson Hotel, Calgary
one night at hubby's business condo
Nucca appt Monday
then flew back to Regina
drove home Tuesday
back at work today!

enjoy each day this week everyone!

leaving on a jet plane..

i am flying to Calgary on Friday, to finish up a Choices Seminar session and then pop in to see my neck doctor.  It is cold out so I am glad I decided to fly with my air miles this time  and free up the travel time.  I am nervous and excited!

see ya when I return!

silver and leather

i finally got out for a ride today and my horse Ben had a bit of silver and leather going on
 for a holiday ride.
It was a cool winter wind
we rode for only about 1/2 hour and did some circle trots in our arena.

i took this picture below, but Ben startled a bit and i shifted to the right in the saddle
didn't quite get the shot I wanted...
It felt good to sit in a saddle and after my NUCCA adjustment on Monday i can sit so relaxed and balanced...
Christmas is almost here, so put on your silver and leather (or whatever spins your ponytail!)

a pain

i purchased a blue roller from Central Ave Physiotherapy, in town, for my muscle stiffness around my right shoulder/rotator cuff.  It is back again and i have had 3 physio treatments this past week.    I don't like to mask pain with too much over-the-counter relaxants but I resorted to Advil liquid gel caps.  The pain was too intense.

This roller (my old one wore out from 2003) will release my tension now if i work at it twice a day, at least.
How much physio and acupuncture can i have?

the great news is that my upper cervical chiropractor in Calgary has sure cured my neck stiffness and pain.  Even with this shoulder problem right now, previously, i would be dealing with neck pain, headaches, it would be the full-meal-deal.  Now I just have to sruggle with this shoulder;  since my boys were small, my muscle problems grew tall, and now I am in my fifties and their is no grace anymore.  work hard, sit right, keep muscles loose, stretch before/after exercise.  This is high maintenance (can anyone relate?)

I highly recommend the NUCCA doctor.  Unfortunately we do not have them in Sask. or Manitoba.

just telling you as I have been pretty busy working on this right arm.
take care of your body and be well!

Sunflowers are extroverted

I enjoyed my wild flowers this year.  The sunflower is the most expressive! glorious extroverted bold I have been picked for the house! alm...
