winter lovely get away thoughts

A human life needs some colour;

 so the colour in my life are - people. 

A peaceful heavenly soft place

can be found anywhere when the sun is out!

When away from home and your own country
 you will see new wonders to take back home with you!

Staying cozy is nice for me, after awhile,  it is like

framing one-self inside all winter;

a nudge outside your coziness can sometimes be a renewal!

so many quotes and amazing statements

here is one I came up with

"always have your own space to ponder"

spring ending

days are always full,

with emotions sometimes dull

the garden is struggling and 

we are juggling

our water cans

to  maintain 

our dry bedding plant plans!

I am grateful

no mosquitoes just yet

they are on there way,

 you can bet.

 the cool WINDY days

make me slump 

like I'm in a craze!

the lakes we have visited twice

that was so nice

events are coming up soon

in June

a concert, a grad

such fun to be had

I got in my kindergarten phase

and made a Father's day card

with my paints

my Dad will faint

when he sees my creativity

gotta do what I love

and stop crooning like a Dove

Summer is here in a week

I will not be bleak

(just had to speak)

plush and paint

I seem to have time on my hands

so this is what I have been up to

this week

my new floor rug;

it is plush and I can

squish my bare toes on it.

added some new pillows for balance

as my friend advised me to do

this pillow is from my folks

a few years back

both of them were avid golfers

as was my grandpa Trembley

I love it!

I had a couple of cupboard doors that

we took off  and I decided to paint on it

(go big or go home!)

I just wanted to colour!

I am facing this month with as much positivity

as I can summon

so when one is idle it means you are given

opportunity to have fun or create or travel, whatever spins "your ponytail"!

Kirkville Poetry

February finally;

I am so glad.

Days are longer.

I am not so sad.

Exercising is

more effort

this time of year.

As

knowing once its done

I have won

and had fun, working out

and being out!

I look at holiday pics,

on you-know-where?

Feeling envious

that,

I am not going anywhere.

Then I remember, the

energy it takes, to

travel there and

back.

I say "let them pack",

I'll do

my walking,

my writing,

my reading, 

{lots of that}

as I sit back

Oh didn't you know?

I joined the local choir.

I sing once a week.

Every once in a while

there is a squeak!

That's me!

I visit my folks in

the Queen City,

My mother is

fighting old age.

My dad accepts it with
subtlety. 

Hubby mucks about with

his horses;

good exercise, he says.

 Setting up training,

to keep them in line,

when it's horseback riding season

time.

He hauls the water,

forks hay,

mucks horse shelter stalls,

buys bales,

moves snow with his tractor,

everything on this

Yorkton frontier 
is a factor!

It's easier to be a poet,

to tell of days going by.

Posting pictures

is easier than baking a pie (no like)

now I am getting silly

I can be a willy.

Be genuine be true!

in Canada we are!

I'm proud and happy to reside here

glow shrub

This week

I have driven by this little shrub several times.

It's like a ball of fire,

 all alone;

reminding me that life is

good and there is always something

or someone to lift you up even if

momentarily.

The weather is so dull and bleak and I know we

human's need sunshine after a couple of days.

This is my sunshine today.

tinted trees on a dull day

yesterday i was driving on # 9 and saw these trees on my left that looked like 

someone had spray painted them with gold

they looked out of character from the dull gray scenery everywhere

I am so desperate for nature to come alive
