It is hard to listen to someone. I mean really checking in with what they are saying. It’s a good practice. However, it’s a good practice if you want to be a better listener To me, it’s a “art” not many are gifted at.
To be heard and acknowledged after you have spoken is so kind and people just want to be heard.
.I look right at them and it helps me to listen better.
