pound no more

this is thursday night's picture as we packed up the tractor and
unhitched this Heavy Hitter (wheatheart) post pounder and returning it
to the rental business will be done tommorrow

we completed the pounding of the new fenceposts on the 15 acres on the north side of our
property
that is all we will do until next spring
so happy to not have to spend long hours pulling that pounder behind our tractor all day; but we could not have fenced this acreage without it...I can't imagine how long it would take ranchers and farmers to put up a fence for livestock back in the good old days...

Mantracker is pretty happy too...

ha ha!  this could of been our fence back in the day....
