well I am back singing with my choral choir as of Mon night. I walked into that church and sat down and saw all the familiar faces. I knew it was another huge commitment for all of us and especially when I work all day Mon and then wait for 2 1/2 hours after work until the practice begins at 7:30
I learn so much and my voice is still unsure about reaching some of the notes but I sit with my group of Alto note singers and I pick up the melody from them. However, the goal is to be able to see the notes and sing them without listening to the person beside you. I am learning to tune out the sopranos as they dominate the music at times. Challenging but fun and I enjoy the sole focus of that piece of music in front of me.
