labour day ride

i can still do it!  i can still ride through the fields and trot and walk and lope a horse.  I am 55 and sometimes i don't feel like i can get my foot up in a stirrup and head out for a while down a road with a horse.  But I can and there is nothing that builds up my confidence that doing just that. 



look at this view as we stopped to oversee from the top of a coulee all that is below.  Blue sky and a partner to ride with (and saddle my horse because i can't it adds stress to my back and shoulders) it was a beautiful morning.  I am getting ready to ride for next weekends trail ride, which is an all day ride at Grasslands National Park.  woot! woot!
