we left the island of Kauai last night and heard the news of Chile's 8.8 earthquake. Hawaii appears to have had a very minor wave surge from it! I just received an update from my brother-in-law's family.
My vacation was full of laughs and comraderie; but right now, we are tired and checking out (all this jet-setting to Denver, Los Angeles, Kauai and living in paradise is overwhelming right now). ...will post more later
