lingering and leaving...

I was given a project to find some birds and photograph them...I went for my power walk at noon today and was excited to see some water fowl in the swift current creek...I love these beautiful "green heads"



my walks at home are very noisy though, with thousands of geese preparing for take off...noisy noisy!

some just need to linger and are not in any hurry.  I am jealous of this lingering nature...no hurry..everything will work out fine.  Not sure of the exact type of duck these are, but I am sure someone will let me know?
