SOOC Saturday-tourist

Today we were tourists at Maple Creek, the guys went to their horse sale, {it is the annual Cowboy Poetry gathering and show in the town of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan}. Our friend Morley is a regular poet and MC for this annual event.

It is also a great place to get some custom-made cowboy and western gear..henceforth the new chaps my husband purchased today!

Later on Shirley and I visited the Cypress Hills Winery located a few miles outside Maple Creek. It was a hot afternoon, but under a tree on a nice patio overlooking the vineyard and the pond we sipped back a lovely tasting Saskatoon berry glass of wine.... what a beautiful exciting visit...imagine our own winery right here in southwestern Saskatchewan!

My question is will your hubby actually wear the chaps when you get home? Sorry, I must confess...this Aussie Girl has a cowboy fantasy LOL!!!
