the lilac bushes in my backyard; I can see them outside my bedroom window and with the 2 day rain still falling down I just was inspired to take a picture and then take a few lilac flowers into the house. Such a nice sweet scent they have.

Lilacs may be my favorite flower scent. Ours bloomed about a month ago, so you're making me jealous! Nice shot!
i wish we had some in our yard...they remind me of my childhood. i remember teachers having them on their desks, or them sitting pretty in a vase at home! so fragrant & delightful...announcing spring has sprung!
