beautiful black-My Best Shot Monday
This is “Ben” and I love the majestic look of a true black mane on a horse. Ben is our half quarter horse and half thoroughbred paint. He was so busy moving around and nibbling on the new green shoots of wild grass that I took this picture so quickly with several quick snaps before and after. Long, beautiful black… so black, so shiny, so unruly...beautiful!

Rocky is thinking about moving his right hind quarter away from me which is what I want. He has to be able to move his hind quarters free...

She does have a beautiful mane!
My daughter's love for horses has really given me the opportunity to live a childhood dream of being near horses. I never had the chance but she does. The manes are so beautiful and dreamy. Nice shot.
I had to come back because my horse crazy daughter was talking this evening about quarter horses and thobrd. horses and how fast they each can run. And they she asked, "Oooh, I wonder how fast they would be if they were a mix of a quarter and a thobrd?" I remembered that from your post! Funny.
That's a cute picture! "Just my ears...I'm too busy munching!!" Ha, ha~!
great pic.
just loving the green grass
Good picture, Donna. Ben's nicely colored, quite different. I, too, love his mane...but then, I love everything about horses!
love this photo donna! so great!
I read Post and got it fine and informative. Please share more like that...
