He likes to cook {especially beef stew}; I like to create stir fry in a wok or fry pan. So we were coordinating all the preparation quite smoothly and then I gave him a jab in the ribs in between my yelling out the recipe and him chopping in the food processor and said this must be a "blessed" recipe..... we are not arguing! ha!

The Irish Stew Recipe - 1st United Church
Beef Stew Casserole
2 lb. stewing beef cut into 3/4 inch cubes
3 cups carrots slice approx. 1/4 inch thick
3 cups potatoes cut into approx. 1/2 inch cubes
3 cups celery chopped
3 cups onion chopped
4 tbsp. Minute Tapioca
3 tsp. salt
3 tsp. sugar
3 cups v-8 or tomato juice
Put all ingredients in a roasting pan. Cover and cook 4½ hours in oven at 275° F. If possible stir twice during cooking.

Minute tapioca? How interesting! That stew looks like it is going to be very yummy! It's making me hungry.
ok now you have me hungry for stew...and at these temperatures it is a winner along with bisquits
