finally ...last day of January - whoopee!

it is a relief to have Jan 31st finally come...whew..now fab Feb is around the corner and all I can think of is our planned mini-skii holiday on Feb 15th..to castle mountain...so i went to check out the old ski equipment and decided that we will just rent our equipment...the old skiis and poles that we bought about 10 years ago are pretty much obsolete..i am hoping it is going to be easier to put on the boots and the skiis will be lighter to haul around....

the days are longer now {at least in the evenings} and i can walk pretty much when i get home from work and not be in the dark, just fighting the wind is a challenge, but hey gotta keep fit for the slopes!

time to donate and discard the old poles and long skinny skiis

picture of me and my last pair of skiis, i remember how excited i was to have my own hot new skiis....had a lot of good runs on them, but as they say "out with the old and in with the new rentals" ...my own quote....

here is to February...let's all have a good month. Don't forget that with Valentines Day it is also a great month to be a blood donor or to volunteer...also take note of Catherine's blog post on Heart and Stroke month {Jan 28th post). It is in us to give!
