nightbeat body break

well, i just came back from my walk to the coulees with my dog and flashlight. yes I am still working out on the "kirkville treadmill" in the black of night (it really was only 6:30 when we headed out).... Sometimes I call out to Summer asking "where are you?" and then I beam my flashlight so I can see him and he is usually only a few feet ahead of me {how comforting}. I wouldn't be walking at night without my dog that is for sure!

isn't it amazing how dark it is in the middle of the open fields on the farm? good thing we have our fuzzy four legged friends to protect us...
happy weekend donna!!!

i can imagine what a treadmill that must be ... no need for mechanical "hill climbs"!!

I walked most evenings at the RV park in Arizona. It gets dark early in the desert and the park has very little lighting but I never carried a flashlight since I was walking on paved streets. THEN, a few days before we left a friend told me she never walks at night with or without a flashlight for fear of stepping on rattlesnakes. I may have to rethink my evening walks when we return in February!
