big project and getting it done....

my 4 year rug hooking project is getting done and my goal is to finish by Christmas..I am working in Tom's room and have hung the canvas from his loft bed frame so I can stand and hook..it works real well. I am excited...this project has helped me pass the time over the last few winters and several people have been involved to some degree. My girlfriend Laurie who has done several herself and has given me some good advice as how to tackle each row; her grandaughter Cheyenne helped me one afternoon and another friend Shirley from Spy Hill helped me do one row; also my niece Brenda worked on it at the lake for me a couple of summers' ago as well (thanks everyone for your interest in my "hooking").
I am looking so forward to completing it!

I have to think about framing it {hopefully Brian can come up with an idea and construct a frame for it....but I must not get ahead of myself yet I still have lots of single pieces of yarn to loop through the squares before it is finished}

Love your new blog look; especailly the picture of your 'snowy' boys in the barn loft. I really like the words on the side from Brene Brown. Good stuff! Good luck with your goal of finishing your hooking by Christmas! It looks beautiful!
