ordinary day...

as I drove into work this morning with my wonderful Honda Accord (what a dream it is to drive) my mind was on my breakfast and how I was going to handle my day at work....but first things first...

my "breakfast sandwich with bacon" from Tim Hortons...this is the fun part of my morning after a 20 minute drive in. I like the south hill Tim Hortons way better than downtown...you know...like..it just feels right and comfortable..

during lunch I get the mail, stopped at "Wallies" for holistic cat food, cat litter and milk, put it in the trunk and headed off to...Kiwanis park to stop and eat my lunch for 10 minutes - I love this spot; I can relax and think deeply here... about sad things and what peace means to me and why Graham is not here with us..it is just normal stuff for me...and terrifically therapeutic (whatever works).

on my way back to work after lunch i drive by my (i call it the "corner of bewilderment") this is where I had my bad accident last year in September...the jaws of life were there to get me out...everytime i drive by this corner it get's easier but i am still very careful and wonder how i came out of it so well..i do believe in a "higher being" and all that goes with it

"after 5" on Wednesdays i enter this building and work hard and receive such rewards with my yoga class
coping with the past can be overwhelming and it is getting easier for me in some ways so here is a thought .... 10% percent is what happens to you and 90%percent is your reaction to it
An "honest" days work for me....(oh.. and then there is "work" at the credit union).....

Sometimes it is the 'ordinary days' that are the best! We get so caught up at work and quit looking at the 'favorite lunch spots', the '5 pm Yogas', etc. Work is such a very small part of our lives yet it consumes us sometimes. I like your pictures. They remind me to keep looking for the 'stuff' that I may be missing in the day. Inspirational thoughts Donna! Thank you!
