Mom's Day...

welcome to my Mother's Day...

Brian happily vacumming my dirty black Honda --- doesn't he look happy - thanks honey!

a pressed crocus flower from Tom from the back coulees of our home...very impressive..this will be matted and framed of course..very special

me with a "Mom's" best friend as well.. and my framed crocus plant

a list of what i am grateful for...
- for a life in the country with nature
- for my walks out the back door into a valley of hills and desert prairie
- for the joy of driving into the city and just about every day i have to slow down or stop for Antelope, Mule Deer, Foxes and Coyotes and Falcons perched on fence posts and Meadow Larks singing...and so on..
- for wonderful neighbours just a mile or two away...
- for riding our horses anytime, weather permitting...
- the lessons i have learned from family tragedy and fear and still able to keep moving forward ...
- for true friends that have proven their cherised worth to me over the years
- for a sister who has shown me how to appreciate God's grace in my life
- for a brother who shares keen interests in technology and i can talk to him anytime on just about any topic
- for my mom who taught me to look after my health and stay strong and happy, she is a shining example of that!
- for my 2006 black Honda Accord ..it rides so smooth..love it!

- for my son Tom and his great love for me
- for my husband Brian who taught me to challenge myself and his patience in teaching me to saddle and ride horses, that is love!

i love a little adventure so out we went to the "Landing" .....

(what a stance eh?)

a little break for a pic of me and my "rocky"

and yes...heaven is wind between a horses ears
