one of my most pleasurable things to do is to walk to the back coulees behind our acreage... today I can barely remember the walk as I was full of pent up energy and anticipation on taking pictures of the bright sun on the new fresh snowfall and the bare dry stubble poking up from the farmer's fields. The windmills are a part of our "big" backyard now and they used to leave a "spooky" feeling inside my bones when they were first built a couple of years ago. Now they are just spectacular.

It looks like you had a beautiful day to go for a walk in the snow. One of my favorite times of the year is in early spring (or winter if a chinook blows through) when you can get outside in the sunshine, go for a walk and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the prairies.
I enjoy reading your blog, Donna, and you have such wonderful pictures of your horses and other pets.
