I am learning new words in the weaving world
like "warp" and "weft" - the warp is the series of yarns or string wound lengthwise onto the loom that makes the foundation of my weaving.
The "weft" is the filling material that holds the warp together. In other words it is the pattern and different colours weaved crosswise.
I am just practicing with the yarns that came with the LapLoom kit. Will post a completed weaving tapestry once I have figured out how to finish it off.

Wow! I can't wait to see this when I come over! I like you're trying so many different mediums of art, there are tons of them that's for sure.
